IQL UK Technical Conference and Awards

About the event
After taking a break in 2017, the IQL UK Technical Conference and Awards are back with a bang this summer – Friday 29 June at Hinckley Island.
Sister conference to our Annual Conference on Saturday and Sunday, the focus will be on Trainer development and will feature a series of keynote industry speakers who are leaders in their field. The fantastic line-up includes the UK’s only Professor in Clinical Traumatology, a British Academy Award winner who has created an innovative virtual-reality app teaching CPR to save lives, a world-leading drowning prevention academic and the co-founder of the world’s most advanced emergency alerting and dispatching platform. If that wasn’t enough for one day, the conference also welcomes motivational speakers from the world of international sport!
In support, the conference will host a number of trade exhibitors, with plenty of opportunity to view new products and systems that support drowning prevention. We’ll also be presenting IQL UK Awards throughout the day, celebrating the hard work and achievements made by Lifeguards, Trainer Assessors and National Trainer Assessors across the UK.
Attendees of the event will also have the opportunity to complete the NPLQ Generation 9 Trainer Assessor update at the event at no extra cost taking place from 16:30-18:00.
