RLSS UK is proud to work with the IoS and CIMSPA in the delivery of the pool plant qualification, which enables leisure staff to manage and maintain swimming pool, spa and play features.

IQL UK, the body of the Royal Life Saving Society UK, and the Institute of Swimming (IoS) (premier training provider for the ASA) have joined forces to deliver the qualification, which provides all the training necessary to reflect the most up-to-date requirements and standards for pool plant operation.

The partnership, which brings together the three biggest organisations in aquatics, will see the full suite of CIMSPA qualifications organised and delivered by the IoS, with external quality assurance and certification provided by IQL UK.

Pool Plant qualifications expire after a period of three years. To ensure you keep your knowledge current with the latest information, best practice and changes to industry guidance you will need to renew your qualification prior to the expiry date of your qualification by either attending a face-to-face revalidation course or completing the online Pool Plant Operator Revalidation which can be found here.
